At The Debt People our aim is very simple. We aim to provide the best advice to every person who calls our company. That advice is based solely on what is best for your individual circumstances. We have proven this to trade body DEMSA who are the only industry trade body whose code of practice has been approved by the Trading Standards Institute. As a result, we are one of a small number of DEMSA members who are legally able to display the logos of the two bodies.

In addition to this, our in house insolvency practitioner, who handles all of our IVA cases is monitored regularly by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Meaning that we comply with the regulations which apply to us from the Insolvency Act. In accordance with the disclosure requirements of the Professional Services Regulations 2009 our professional indemnity insurer is Brit Insurance, 55 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 3AS. The territorial coverage is worldwide excluding professional business carried out from an office in the United States of America or Canada, and excludes any action or claim brought in any court in the United States of America or Canada.
